The msn-inventor
06.02.04 (10:49 am)   [edit]
Kind of in the mood for nothing. Nothing is going as planned. I can't get myself to do my homework and my grades are drastically lower than at the start of this year, though I am spending wholes days behind the computer trying to get myself to learn. (NOT)

The inventer of msn is a genius but he should take into account that there are some children who just have to make their homework and can't make themselves do it because they're busy with msn. (quite a sentence, huh?)
How did he get the idea of msn? I mean, it is brilliant. He makes the road to world peace broader. It is the beginning of certain possibilities. It is a improvement to world comunication and world domination!!! Once I will rule the world with the msn-inventor at my side!!! (Okay.. kind of loosing it)

I recently noticed it is microsoft that provides msn. Kind of immediately pulled the plug out. How did I dare to say the M-word?

Two quotes from two so called famouse people:

Theory is when everything is known and nothing works. Practice is when everything works and nobody knows why. At Microsoft, theory and practice are united: nothing works and nobody knows why

The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners!

They try to rule the computer world. All the windows and though are not user friendly if you know anything about computers. There are those other things that are like windows (C how much I know about computers :S) but you have more options as a user and you can deal with bugs yourselves. Mmicrosoft is full of bugs and the keep a certain monopoly position so you can't make you own improvements. Also windows acts weird most of the time and your only resceu is ctrl+ alt+ delete.

I suppose this comment suggests I don't know shit about computers and I don't. But I have heard microsoft is not very good...

Well, in some areas I agree with you; for example, Microsoft's Internet Explorer is utter shite (hence the reason I don't use it). And Windows isn't particularly secure either (and Linux is).

But on the other hand, they've got some really impressive software. Microsoft Office is a really nice piece of software, and their developer software is outstanding.

Sure, they do have made some improving software but not since 1995. Since the release of windows 95, they haven't made anything special (except some really nice games ^^). But that thing is with most product designers, they go on with the profit of the previous creat-or/ion. Nothing really new appears on the market. Microsoft also makes sure that nothing new will enter the market, for they push people to buy microsoft programs which are (logically enough) best compatible with windows.
Frankly enough, i don't really mind about programs like office, for all typing programs are excactly the same to me. However, what i do find unfair is how they misuse direct-x (graphicle driver for games made by microsoft. Isnt compatible at all with linux apple or os2 :( ). Windows is kinda sucky for it requires a shitload of memory and processing force. If someone has seen Windows longhorn, he will know what i'm talking about ;).

But about the vacuum cleaning part, that is meant for Nvidia ;). With the ventilation unit of the new geforces you can easily vacuum clean ^^
